about

Recorded live in the Planetarium of the Cape Town museum. - 2002

Tony Cox and Steve Newman are that absolute rarity in the music world: True virtuosos who play with the ease, grace, and agility of the greatest gypsy adepts. This is a fantastic album. It captures what sounds to be a near perfect performance, with pieces that range from old-style blues, to ragtime, to neo-classical, and peppered with Cox and Newman's original and brilliant compositions. I couldn't recommend this album heartily enough. Buy it.
